LVGP Named Business of the Month
LEHIGH VALLEY GRAND PRIX NAMED BUSINESS OF THE MONTH
Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) and Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski today named Lehigh Valley Grand Prix as the “Business of the Month” at a news conference held at Lehigh Valley Grand Prix at 649 S. 10th Street.
Lehigh Valley Grand Prix was selected by members of the Business Recruitment and Retention Committee of Allentown Ahead, a volunteer group of AEDC.
“Today, we pause to honor one of the young professionals in a fledgling business, Mike McCreary, a true entrepreneur,” said Pawlowski. Mike is a product of the entrepreneur program at Lehigh University. A 2007 graduate, Mike is the brains behind this adaptive reuse of a former Mack Trucks Facility.”
“I am honored to have been selected,” said McCreary. “The city and AEDC have been very supportive. I remember the first day I met Lewis Edwards of AEDC and told him I needed 50,000 square feet for an indoor kart arena. He went right to work on it. I am pleased and proud to be part of the exciting things happening in the City of Allentown.”
“It’s important to recognize the valuable contributions made by businesses to make Allentown a better place to live, work and play,” said Pawlowski. “The “Business of the Month” designation is one way of bringing attention to their outstanding efforts.”
